Great, quick service. Great, fresh, pefectly spicy, delicious, well prepared food. Comfortable, informal atmosphere, Packed with happy, laughing East Indian customers. Reasonable prices (appies $13, mains $16 to $18) and generous portions. Will keep coming back. Most dishes come with one or two condiments such as tamarind or yoghurt sauce imcluded in the base price, but sauce lovers can purchase large 8 oz sides for $4 each. Second visit: Ordered 2 different appetizers, 2 diffent breads (Naan and Roti), 2 side dishes, 3 mains, ~$85. 6 drinks + 15% tip: ~$160. Enough leftovers for four moderate dinner servings. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The menu offers a wonderful variety of authentic Indian dishes, and everything we ordered was bursting with flavor. The spices were perfectly balanced, and the food tasted fresh and homemade. I highly recommend their [chat papri, paneer lababdar, paneer bhurji, paneer pakora and masala lemonade], which was cooked to perfection. The naan was soft and fluffy, and the chutneys were the perfect accompaniment. The service was prompt and friendly, and the staff clearly take pride in what they do. We had a lovely lunch dine-in experience at Food Village today. The atmosphere was clean, welcoming, and perfect for a relaxed meal. This restaurant provides an excellent value for the quality and quantity of food you receive. You will find that the menu caters to various tastes with a wide range of dishes to choose from. AMAZING FOOD!!! Friendly Staff!!! Jashan was so kind to my daughters ❤️❤️Authentic 🥰🥰🥰 the lamb chunks in the lamb biryani... so savory 😋😋😋 and their yogurt sauce is sooo good with the lamb biryani, it has carrots and other spices in it! it is the BEST Lamb biryani I have tried in SK so far! This has been my go-to restaurant in Regina since opening. I average 1 or 2 orders a week here and in all the months of my orders, I am quite satisfied every time. I am vegetarian so can only speak to those meals. I've tried nearly every veg option and all have been exceptional, but I am a sucker for a filling curry-type bowl. As such my go-to 10/10 recommendations are the veg masala bowls (paneer tikka, butter paneer..) and the dhaba-style dal is a standout that I've never tasted similar to. For me , this is certainly the best food in harbour landing and a top-contender for best in the city for prices to flavor value. ~ Opolopalus L

We ordered the biryani and goat curry from Food Village, and it was absolutely delicious! The biryani was perfectly cooked with fragrant, long-grained rice, tender meat, and just the right blend of spices. The goat curry was rich, flavourful, and had a melt-in-the-mouth texture so good with the biryani! The portion size was generous, and the food arrived fresh and hot. Food Village is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants in Regina we’ve been to! The flavors are authentic, and every bite feels like a celebration of Indian cuisine. The hara bhara kabab was absolutely outstanding – crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, and perfectly spiced. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We visited Food Village again because last time our experience was so bad and this time the experience was fantastic. The service was excellent, especially from Jass, who was incredibly polite and attentive—by far the best service we’ve had here! As for the food, everything was spot on. The Dahi Bhalla was flavorful, and the strawberry shake was refreshing and perfectly blended. We also enjoyed a nice coffee shake and ice cream for dessert—both were satisfying and well-made. I tried this place because it was close to my hotel with no expectations but left very impressed. I don’t know my Indian food, and tried the chicken tikka masala. It was excellent paired with naan bread. A customer a couple tables down ordered something that smelled even more tantalizing. I’m hoping to some day figure out what that dish is. It was a relaxed evening atmosphere with some upbeat music. The dining area was well designed and appealing. The waitress matched my shyness, was kind, and helpful. I hope to go back. ~ Margaret L

Last night I visited this restaurant with my family, I was seriously impressed with the food taste and atmosphere. We start with chat papdi and chicken 65 which had a perfect mix of crunch, spice and tanginess. And the chicken 65 was 11/10, that feels like pure indian taste for which we were looking. For mains, the paneer tikka masala was flavourful, with fresh chunks of paneer and perfectly spiced tomato based gravy.service was quick and polite. I wanted to try out the new restaurant and I was surprised beyond expectations. I ordered some butter chicken, lamb korma, butter and garlic naan. Each dish was somehow better than the last. The way the interior has been done is worth mentioning. It has a premium feel to it with excellent ambience. The staff were extremely competent and friendly, doing everything to make you feel at home. This is without doubt the best Indian restaurant in Regina now. This is an amazing place for delicious food and great vibes! We tried Shaam Savera and coconut rice, and honestly, it was the best decision 🤍 The Shaam Savera was super fresh, soft and full of flavor, and the coconut rice was perfectly cooked with a very nice aroma and taste.
